Harokopio University is the newest higher education establishment in Greece. The planning and development of the Institution was carried out on high international standards by the Greek Ministry of Education. The University is currently running the Department of Home Economics and the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition. Both Departments offer four year, full-time studies,leading to B.Sc degrees. The Department of Home Economics offers majors in Educational Home Economics and Human Ecology. Harokopio University is offering high quality education in the fields of Home Economics, Human Ecology, Nutrition, and Dietetics. All majors combine theoretical knowledge with laboratory research and modern technologies.
