Within our site you will find a substantial amount of useful information concerning our association members, our activities, our industry and the issues that bear on us. WHO WE ARE

San Francisco Fashion Industries, founded in 1920, is an association of manufacturers, wholesalers and importers of women's, men's and children's apparel and accessories. We are located in Northern California, with most members in San Francisco or the Bay Area.

Associated with us are firms who provide services or merchandise to the fashion industries, such as textiles, trimmings, machinery, transportation, finances, cutting and sewing contracting, ect.

Our primary objective is to promote the sale to retailers of fashion merchandise originating in Northern California. We also provide many services to members in the area of group health, life and worker's compensation insurance, employment, as well as representing the fashion industries to the public and legislative bodies at all levels of government.

The Association is proactive in its approach to industry education and business issues. SFFI is an active participant in the business community. As such, we support and partner with a number of organizations and educational institutions throughout the State of California. San Francisco Fashion Industries proudly maintains Board of Director or Advisory Board positions with the following organizations:

All policies are established by an elected Board of Directors and executed by a professional staff in the Association office.
