War of the Worlds

In my opinion "The War of the Worlds" is one of the best Sci-Fi movies ever made. Amazingly the movie is over forty years old (released in theaters in 1953) and yet has great special effects on par with what we have now!!! I strongly recommend that you rent this movie--you will discover the real inspiration for this summer's mega-hit Independence Day.
