The Museum of Cycladic Art represents the fulfillment of the Nicholas P. Goulandris Foundation's, objectives founded in 1985. As it is defined in the constituent act, the Foundation has as its objectives the research and promotion of Greek civilization. In the well arranged spaces of the Museum exhibited are the permanent Collections of Cycladic and Ancient Greek Art, as well as other collections donated or on loan to the Foundation. The Museum also hosts periodical exhibitions, cultural activities, talks, lectures, seminars, and organised educational programmes.
