Figure v4
Figure v4
Fourth in the series Polygon Economy.
In this series I am trying to find out what is possible
with low amounts of data-small texture files and low polygon counts.
It is essentially a reaction to the notion in computer graphics
that the machine makes the art. As if
the expense of the machine and the quantity of data
reflect the value of the image.

Unfinished Torso-Male Unfinished Torso-Female
Unfinished Torsos
VRML object files of two torsos I am working on, both unfinished.
This is for those of you asking to see some models

CG Still Life 2
CG Still Life 2
I'm trying to explore a painterly nature through CG media.
This does not mean I am trying to make CG look like a painting
through the use of "art" filters,
but rather I am trying to identify what can be painterly
about computer graphics' own nature.
The grain in the image above is the result of
multiple conversions to indexed palettes.
