If you have a Special Pet in your life, this is your chance
to see him or her on the World Wide Web and take place in an on-line vote.
Send us a good-quality photograph of your pet with a brief description
of why you think he or she is special and your pet may be chosen as a winner
in one of three Special Pets categories or as the overall Grand Prize winner!
Twelve special pets representing all three categories
will be chosen by our panel of judges to compete in an on-line vote at
the end of the competition. The special pet that receives the most votes
is the grand prize winner of a Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Series PC and a
Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 693C Printer. Two winners in each category will
receive runner-up prizes of a Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 693C Printer. You'd
be dog-gone crazy not to participate!
All sorts of pets are eligible. The categories are 'Most
Unusual Pet', 'Shaggiest Dog', and 'Most Loveable Pet'. A brief description
of no more than 50 words on why your pet should win in any of these categories
will help the judges decide. Photographs should ideally be a maximum size
of 4 x 6 in, 10 x 15 cm.
Each week, a new selection of ten Special Pets will appear
in the Special Pets Gallery. A Special Pets Archive will contain all the
photographs that have been submitted.
And everyone who participates receives an exclusive Special
Pets Competition certificate printed from the HP DeskJet 693C colour printer
as a commemorative gift.
