Welcome to the Muppets Home Page. This is an unofficial collection of information about Jim Henson's Muppets. The information here was collected by myself (Bill Sherman), with the help of many of the alt.tv.muppets denizens - in particular, a few of the other muppet archivists ...
One thing you may notice about this WWW site that is a bit unusual, is the small number of images, sounds & other forms of multi-media. The reason for this, is that most of that material is copyrighted. I intend to respect those copyrights here. Jim Henson ProductionsTM has given me the right to display some muppet material here, and I am beginning to incorporate it into this document. Look for more fun stuff in the future. -- Bill

The Wubbulous World of Dr. Suess will begin airing on the Nickelodeon cable network on October 13, 1996. Airing weekly on Sunday evenings, the show will feature familiar and new characters, in all new stories. While not writen by Dr. Suess himself, each story is approved by the Dr. Suess foundation before going into production.
The series is being shot in the JHP's New York studio using a combination of live action puppets with digital sets, allowing for more flexibility, and more "virtual" sets to be constructed than would otherwise be possible for a children's television series. -- Bill
